Navslide AS is launching three new products enabling easy access to navigation monitors that will cover a variety of installation solutions for different cockpit layouts.
The new mounts have an adjustable arm that enables a 360° rotation of the navigation Monitor.
Two of the mounts are designed for attachment to varying sizes of tubing, horizontal or vertical and the third mount can be used on any flat surface such as a cockpit table or on a vertical surface such as the bulkhead.
The director of Navslide AS, Tom Ueland Brataas, said, “ Listening to our customers gives us valuable information on their different requirements and inspires us to invest in development of equipment that improves Cockpit ergonomics for safer sailing.”
The range of Navslide® mounting solutions allows you to easily mount, remove and relocate electronics. The mounting plate makes installment easy, using the supplied yoke that comes with the monitor.
The new products are designed to cover requirements on boats where the existing patented Navslide® Navigation Monitor Sliding Mount is not optimal. Boats with dual steering wheels often mount their electronics on the cockpit table in the middle of the steering positions. The new Navslide® is designed for mounting in this position and allows for a 360° view - often desired when on autopilot when the pilot is seated under the spray hood.
Two of the other new mounts can be attached to any tubing varying in size from 25 to 32mm - the perfect solution for boats with small steering wheels.
Navslide® products are primarily designed for Sailing boats, but some of the latest designs can also be used on Powerboats and more new products, designed especially for the Power boat, are being planned for launch in 2012. “We have many new ideas and love the challenges presented by our customers,” says Tom.
